Win32 callbacks are defined as
Option<T>
so this can lead to double-wrapping when such an output parameter is returned as aResult<T>
but it's so rare and only effects a handful ofGetExtensionFunctionXxx
functions I don't think it's worth specializing this corner case in general. It's also not arguably "better" as an output parameter.
